Plan whole weeks

Copy, cut, paste, shift or clear a week of training, and plan around trips or injuries.

Every week of the calendar has a … menu: at the top of its summary in the month view, next to its title in the week view, and in the week header on mobile.

  • Copy the week, then open the menu of another week and choose Paste the week here. Sessions, races and notes are copied with their structured workouts, on the same weekdays and at the same local time. Copies start as sessions to do, without the activities or comments of the originals.
  • Cut the week and paste it elsewhere to move it. Sessions already done stay with their activity.
  • Shift the sessions moves the week's sessions one day or one week, earlier or later.
  • Delete the week's sessions removes the sessions still to do, after a confirmation. Done sessions, races and notes stay.

Copies, moves, shifts and deletions show a toast with Undo, and Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on a Mac) undoes the latest change. Undoing a copy deletes it, undoing a move moves the sessions back, and undoing a deletion re-creates the sessions with their goals and workouts (not their comments).

A copy or a move of a week is one request: either every event changes, or none does. Coaches can do it on their athletes' calendars. Times follow the athlete's time zone, so a 7:00 session stays at 7:00 after a daylight saving change.

Coaches can also select sessions on an athlete's calendar and move or copy them by a day or a week: see Delete multiple planned workouts.

Repeated sessions

When planning a session, a race or a note, choose Repeat: every week or every 2, 3 or 4 weeks, until a date (eight weeks by default, 90 days at most). The occurrences keep the weekday, the local time and the workout, and show a repeat icon.

Editing or deleting an occurrence asks whether the change applies to this session only or to this session and the following ones. A new date moves the following occurrences by the same number of days, to the same new time. Sessions already done are never changed.

Periods without training

Drag across days (or create a cycle) and choose a type: Travel, Illness or Injury mark a period without training, drawn hatched in grey. When such a period covers sessions still to do, the calendar lists them and offers to:

  • move them after the period: each moves by the length of the period, in the same order, with Undo in the toast;
  • delete them;
  • keep them.

Training blocks keep their colour and their own name.

Keyboard shortcuts

Press ? in the calendar to list them: T goes to today, ← and → to the previous or next month (or week), M, W and S switch to the month, week and season views. Hold C (or Alt) while dragging a session to copy it, and E while clicking it to edit it directly. Ctrl+Z or ⌘Z undoes the latest change. Esc leaves the selection.
